Please note our class schedule during the summer will be from 2-4:30pm.

  • The goal of the part time nazara program is to introduce students to the rules and etiquette of reading the Quran with correct pronunciation. Teachers work with students to teach them the makhraj of the Arabic letters and the rules of tajweed. Teachers help students apply the rules of tajweed to help them develop a fluent, flowing recitiation of the Quran.

In addition to learning how to read the Quran, students in the nazara program will take part in Islamic study circles. The topics of these study circles will be the different lessons emphasized in the Quran. The goal of this is to facilitate the tarbiyaah of the students to develop their Islamic identity.
