• Our goal at Hamd is to develop the next generation of leaders who will create a positive impact in their communities. This can’t happen if our youth are not connected with the Quran. The goal of the full time hifdh program is to create an environment that allows students to effectively memorize and connect with the words of Allah.

To accomplish this, our hifdh teachers create a structured plan to help each student progress in their Quran journey. Our teachers share methods and tips to effectively memorize and retain the Quran. Our teachers also ensure that students learn to recite the Quran correctly.

Our hifdh program is not limited to only memorizing the Quran. We place a priority on understanding and implementing the Quran. To accomplish this, we teach students the moral and practical lessons contained within the ayahs they are memorizing. We also strive to connect the ayahs with the relevant events from the life of the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).

  • Our goal at Hamd Institute is to provide an enriched academic curriculum that will maximize students’ academic and spiritual growth. To accomplish this, we have partnered with The Islamic Education Institute of Texas. Our academic curriculum has been meticulously designed for each grade level. Our academic curriculum includes core subjects, such as math, science, language arts, reading, and social studies. Our goal is to ensure each student masters the standards outlined for their grade level in the Texas Education Knowledge and Skills.

The student-to-teacher ratio in our classes is very small, which allows us to work with students according to their own learning level. We assess our students throughout the academic year to monitor their academic growth. We evaluate the results of these exams to ensure students are mastering all the state standards for their grade levels.

We understand that parents want their students to be college and career ready. This is why we use a innovative online learning management platform to keep parents connected with the work students are doing in the classroom. Parents will have access to students’ grades and lesson plans through this platform. Furthermore, this platform gives parents a method to communicate with teachers at any time of the day.
