Sister Susan Abdullah
Sister Susan Abdullah was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq, and has always been passionate about teaching the Arabic language. With over 30 years of experience in teaching Arabic to beginners, she holds a Diploma in Teaching Methods and a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies with a minor in Arabic Language.
She has also received a Recitation Ijazah in Quran recitation with Tajweed according to the narration of Hafs Bin Asim with a golden chain of transmission that traces back to the Prophet Mohammed (ﷺ). Her lifelong goal is to help young people read the Quran with understanding and guide them toward a closer connection with Allah. In addition to working at Hamd Institute, she also teaches Arabic Language at Elfarouq School on weekends.
Known for her patience and empathy, she continues to inspire young learners to excel academically, grow spiritually, and embody Islamic values in every aspect of their lives.
